Today I went to radio shack and picked up the Pro-97 scanner! Great scanner! will give a better up-date

Why does everyone around here have scanners that are trunk trackers when no one in a 50mile radius even remotely is trunked. the only one who is encoded is kingston and boy i wish i knew that frequency

Well the Bc-200xlt is a older scanner by todays standards, but still a very good scanner. That can be modified to get the full 800Mhz. band! Glad to see you are updating to a GREAT scanner the Bc-246T a SWEET scanner.

(luzerne county area ) As for the encoded frequency that kingston uses its still the same frequency. 154.995 But they use a scrambler/encoder to make it sound like donald duck.

Well if you get a good deal on a scanner with trunking, hell why not you never know when you might need one. I agree Tony, It's better to have a scanner with Trunk Tracking and not need it then not have it and need it ;D

yeah i love my TK-270. its the newest version of the 270 feild programable 128 channels. encoder/decoder 500wat speaker. I also got some accessories! My FCC Licence Heavy duity case with bunji cord external speaker mic and soon to come programing software and cable!
