I gave in and got another Pro-97 scanner! Yes, another one! In all my scanning this and the Bearcat 780XLT are by far the best scanners I have! I would recommend the Pro-97 handheld scanner to anyone. Not to hard to use, the manual SUCKS, but with yahoo groups its easy to operate! This is a 1,000 channel scanner which is more then enough for around here. Lighted key-pad. Signal stalker/AKA close call (bearcat). Skywarn, service search, 1.3 Ghz range and military air band! which is a BIG plus. Most scanners don't have that band! Ctcss/Dcss tone code. All around great scanner.
