If you mean locally: Target Circuit City Of course, there's BJ's favorite: Ebay And a ton of other online scanner stores. I have many bookmarked if you need, but a simple google will probably be better if you want to consider on-line stores. Here's a handy comparison chart[/u] [/url]for some Unidens. I personally wouldn't have one without Alpha tags, but that restricts choices. Here's some detailed reviews

First you should decide what you want or narrow it down to which ones you like. You can check out all the bearcats www.uniden.com/products/productlisting.cfm?cat=Scanners&filter=BaseSometime uniden has reconditioned models for good prices offered on there website. Then once you have a model in mind, do a google search to look for the best price. I love Alpha taging Too!

thanks BJ i looked into that and found a good one that i liked ,it has a am/fm radio ,alarm clock , pretty cool lol Amazon reviews are good. (these may be beginners with no experience?) As a Reliability Manager for an electronics Co (recently retired ;D ;D), I always favored reconditioned units because the user found the defect, and it was fixed (On a new unit, YOU might be finding the defect and getting it fixed). Uniden has a recon unit for $64.99: www.unidendirect.com/itemdetail.cfm?item=B-BC340CRSUniden site only lists the newest sets. If you want a really good set (besides the one Keith recommended), you might consider this: www.scannermaster.com/BC898T_Scanner_p/01-500866.htmYou can find this for $185 on the net, and maybe CB Center will match. If you get interference on some of your favorite freq's, this has PL/DPL, which helps to screen out interference and lets you be selective in what you hear.

that one for 64.99 is a nice one i might be getting it thanks captclint ;D If you want that one, you should act as soon as possible. The Recon units tend to go fast, and often there is only one at any particular time.
