Yesterday I was able to hear a message from PEMA on what I believe to be an image frequency. When I got home I searched the bands on my scanner from 29MHZ to 960MHZ and didnt har anything. I could hear it at the Williamsport high school in the hall way by th gym on 155.745, which of course is South Wmspt boro highway channel. It would come in and out depending on where I moved but it did come in pretty clear most of the time. The message would come on and say something like this is from the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and then it gave the traffic reports from the snow problems over to the east for like Route 81 and said about the closures etc. It was a recording as it kept repeating the same thing and after a minute or so it would cut itself off and start over.
Anyone know what this was or what frequency?
