I think that it would be pretty funny if you could somehow program a cordless phones frequency number into a vhf and when they use the phone key the Mic and just start talking and when they ask you who you are tell them you are calling to confirm a pizza delivery or something.I know people will get mad at this post but it is not to be taken seriously.

Cell phones and wireless /cordless phone you can listen to, but is it legal? No it not legal to listen to them just what you hear keep it to yourself! It is a crime.

Sure here are the image frequencies 894.100Mhz. to 915.000Mhz. But all cell phones are digital now. And you probably won't hear anything.

Thanks...what about Mod.? I have a BC80xlt That scanner is not capable of a modification to pick up any digital signal. The only cell signals it could pick up will be analog. If you really want to get it all, get a digital from Canada or some other country.

No scanner is capable of a digital modification! It has to be a digital scanner to start out with.
